Day 603, Dr. Zachary Smith

If I haven't wrote it before then I might as well write it now.... My favorite episode of Lost in Space is Magic Mirror. The idea of entering another world though a mirror is quite extraordinary. Hmmm!! I guess that is why Dr. Smith thought he was losing his mind! Here he is seen checking his own heartbeat as Dr. Maureen Robinson waves smelling salts under his nose. He is also taking his temperature. In one of the freezing tubes in the background I stamped one of Angela Cartwright's Unruly Shadow Stamps.

Day 605, War of the Robots

Inspired by a scene from the Lost in Space episode "The War of the Robots". I love this story! For a moment Dr. Maureen Robinson, and Dr. John Robinson have a wonderful conversation inside the Jupiter 2
Here I used one of Angela Cartwright Unruly Shadow Stamps in the back ground to the right.

This was in a way inspired by the Lost in Space episode "The Oasis". You can see the drawing here.

Day 607, Drawing and Watercolor June Lockhart and Marta Kristen

It hardly looks like it... but this was inspired by Lost in Space episode Attack of the Monster Plants! I used one of Angela Cartwright Unruly Shadow Stamps in the back ground. If I had this to do again I would take out the Jupiter 2 and add some of those Monster Plants.

Day 622, Preplanus Episode of Lost in Space

These are all different. Got to stop here and quit messing with the plants ... and rocks.
From last to first. Done on the back of watercolor paper and inspired by a Lost in Space story set on Preplanus.

Day 625, Chicken Blog Give Away / Outside the Jupiter 2

Hey everyone out there! One of my favorite blogs is Chicken Blog. This week they are having a Blogoversary! I got hooked on Chicken Blog a while back when I was perusing Angela Cartwright's Said and Done Blog... Among the comments I saw Natalie's smiling face with that cute hat ... and I had to go see! I was wondering who was that lady? .... And was she a fan of Lost in Space and Angela Cartwright too ... just like me?? Well, I have been visiting Chicken Blog for about 2 years now. Not exactly sure how long!

Hey! Chicken Blog has been around since 2002! That is a wonderful amount of work and effort! I left a comment on last weekends post. And I received the first Sentimental Giveaway! I mentioned my other blog (a Cat Blog) and my memories of how I began it! ...... Thank you Natalie and family for the giveaway! The kitty blog is 50% sweat and tears, and 50% joy! It is a diversion from the hard cruel world for me!!

On the other-hand here I think I am all alone at 1000 Days Lost in Space ... posting and nobody seeing ... But I still want you to know the nice family at Chicken Blog! And hey!! They are going to have another give away! There will be two more drawings! Any one leaving a comment between now and 7:59 PM Sunday (PST) has a chance at it!

Day 642, Lost in Space Watercolor

What episode inspired this I can't tell. It was drawn so long ago. I printed it up on the back of a watercolor I had done. So it is the reverse side of the watercolor paper. Then I did it over in watercolor.

Angela Cartwright as Penny Robinson with Jonathan Harris as Dr. Smith, along with Angela's Shadow Stamps in the backgound. As Cheyenne Millie would say, you have to "biggify it" to see the antenna.

Day 653, A Lost in Space Watercolor

Finished this watercolor tonight. It wasn't until around the episode, The War of the Robots that Will Robinson's and The Robot's friendship really took off.

Day 661, Marta Kristen and Jonathan Harris in West of Mars, A Lost in Space Watercolor

Marta Kristen and Jonathan Harris when Harris as Zeno has a chilling conversation with Judy. West of Mars has some interesting moments, but leaves one feeling like this is really kids stuff. In the background I used some of Angela Cartwright's Unruly Shadows.

Day 735, June Lockhart LIS

Same view of the same picture of June Lockhart from Lost in Space, but one I did more with photoshop. I am bad, I did this on plain drawing paper.
But I did this late in the day, colored in pencil and watercolor. I have been working on an acrylic painting for the past two days. Not sure I like it. I guess I will let it sit for a couple of days, before I go back to it.

Day 993, My Jupiter 2 Watercolors

My watercolors of the Lost in Space, spaceship the Jupiter 2 landing somewhere other than earth. The first one I did a couple of months ago. The second one was more recent.
