Day 530, Inspired by Lost in Space

Lost in Space has gone to the cats. But that there spaceship.... is hardly the Jupiter 2. In my world I call my spaceship the Andromeda 3.  I have been hankering to do more Lost in Space art. I have been watching a lot of it. But I have been sidetracked by these two.... My Jazzie Jessie and Cheyenne. Also by my grandson. It can be difficult working, babysitting, taking care of 5 cats and my mom. Somewhere in there I squeeze in a little of this kind of art. The shadow art was inspired by Angela Cartwright's shadow stamps.

Idioms Illustrated

I did this last Spring... and have thought to post it. Will post more soon. These were for school... per the teacher's request... it has become important to me. Therefore, on my own time I am illustrating my own book  regarding idioms.

This is done in colored pencil... I am not used to such. I normally work in acrylic or watercolor.

My cat served as model for this watercolor I did. This is an illustration for one of the stories I have been working on.

Day 532, The Space Primevals

The Lost in  Space episode The Space Primevals is always a great one to watch. In this episode the robot dresses up with feathers, does a dissapearing act, and shows off some of his tricks. He chants and "dances" with the "cavemen"... But hey! Those cave men aren't really cavemen!

And then there is Dr. Zachary Smith. Being not himself.... But more reflective and kinder.

Day 533 ... Somewhere Lost in Space.

I know this is inspired by a second season episode of lost in Space. But I am not sure which. I added my cats Cheyenne and Jazzie Jessie. I just realized how seldom I am posting now. This isn't good. I have been working on several children's picture books. Not good not to post.

Day 534, Lost in Space, Two Weeks in Space

This was inspired by Two Weeks in Space. I love this episode. I especially love the interaction between Jonathan Harris and Edy Williams. Her name "Non" is so alien. The idea of the Jupiter 2 being transformed into Happy Acres Hotel is hilarious.
