Day 535, Smith and the Andriod

I always loved The Android Machine. Poor Verda was more human than Dr. Smith. She was always trying to please Smith. But he was somewhat unpleaseable. Actually, I don't think my Verda looks much like the real Verda did. Every time I look at this one she looks a lot like the actress Olivia Hussey. That was unintentional.

This is some artwork that was inspired by Lost in Space. This poor kitty... my baby, Miss Jazzie Jessie. I am still learning how to paint. I have very little to say about my own art except that I think about art often. And I don't understand how Thomas Kincaid (who made such beautiful artwork) could have had such turmoil in his life.

Day 540 Lost in Space ... the first episodes

This was inspired by a scene from the first episodes of Lost in Space, or rather No Place to Hide. Judy doesn't have bangs yet. I like her in bangs so that is what I drew her.

Way Back in Feb I won Pasticcio Quartz

Way back at the beginning of the year I won Pasticcio Quartz. I apologize to Angela Cartwright and Sarah Fishburn for not posting this sooner. I appreciate that Angela offered this on her blog. And I am sorry I am like molasses.

I haven't been on my blogs much recently. I am scheduled for surgery on the 30th. It is not a terrible surgery. But I am really nervous and upset about it. Last year I went to the Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas. That was great! This year is no fun. Besides the surgery there is the problems associated with living with my married daughter and her husband. My mom has to put up with him too.

I plan to do more art soon after the surgery, hopefully all will go well. I guess that having cancer 5 years ago has left me paranoid in the extreme about hospitals.

Oh!!! to have been Penny and stumbled into that world behind the reflection!! I will most likely do this again since it, Magic Mirror is my favorite episode! I think Penny looks older here.
