Day 829, Star Trek Drawing

We watched some Star Trek, The Original Series tonight. I got the bug... I had to draw some Star Trek. Mirror Mirror, has always been among my favorite episodes. And I particularly love the scene between Sulu and Uhura. I consider this a lesson in drawing fingers.

Day 832, Magic Mirror Drawing and Watercolor

I will always love Lost in Space. This is my absolute favorite episode, The Magic Mirror. These are the same picture, with two different backgrounds. I like the "outdoor" one the best. I like those scenes showing the exterior of the Jupiter 2. The original scene was indoors. Dr. Smith is "ill" because he thinks he is having hallucinations. He just saw Penny disappear into the mirror.

This is just a portion of the picture I was working on today. It is a watercolor pad which is too large to fit on the scanner. There are more palm trees to the left. I was inspired by a puzzle.

Here is Dr. Smith, thinking of treasures. Here the treasure being the platinum mirror. I've written it before, but will write it again. I love Smith's face. He has wonderful expressions.

Day 844, Colonel Zachary Smith Drawing

Here is the same picture I worked on yesterday. I finished the background on it. Plus I did it over in ink. There are those who think that Don's and treatment of Dr. Smith was out of line. Dr. Smith was after all a Colonel. He also was an older man.

Day 846, or One of Our Dogs is Missing a Lost in Space Watercolor

The picture below in watercolor. It was Penny who saw the crashed space capsule first. The Robinson women and Dr. Smith went to investigate. I always feel like I, in a way, mess up the picture once I do the watercolor, but I still must do it.
